Now, I must say something about my friend Tanya... we have been friends for eons and eons... knowing each other through times when we had boyfriends, marriage, kids... we have told each other our secrets... talked music forever on the phone trying to figure out who song what song from the 80's... the list is endless... I lived in New South Wales and Tanya in Melbourne, Victoria - funny thing... we have never met... but like I said... we have talked for hours on the phone... and we only lived a State apart... she is my Aussie supplier... always sending me a DVD or CD of Aussie music... a stash of Tim Tams or jars of Vegemite... a true blue trooper she is... well, about a year after starting this absurd and crazy wait she sent me this package telling me that I was to NOT open it until we had Shauna.. well, I figured that since I was doing Shauna's room and that package was there... that I would open it - I have waited long enough and it killed me... well, we were going to have the 'baby shower' but it was called off (for many reasons, to many to go into) at least until another day... so, I opened it and this is what I found... a special bear all the way from home... you press it's hand and it says "I LOVE YOU"... Thank you Tanya... thank you 1,000 times over... you have turned out to be one very sincere, fun and true friend - even though we have never met... it is you that I have always been able to rely on for anything... of all the 'friends' that have come and gone... you are the only one who has still been there... even when we don't talk for months on end... we can get on the phone etc and chatter away... I promise you one thing... we will get to meet - we should try to work something out to meet up next time I am in Australia when I have Shauna... love ya and thanks so much...
On another note... this is the closet and the stain is dry and finally I have been able to drag Shauna's clothes out of the many boxes and start to hang them up... it was so exciting... you can also see the tiny little backpack... and yep, it is a little Tinkerbell backpack... I promised mum I would put this photo up of all her little clothes... the crib is a temp home to many pillows etc once we get the room finished... they will find a home somewhere but had to put the bear in here...

Anyone who will send vegemite has got to be a great friend. The bear is adorable and the closet looks so cute with all the little clothes hanging in there. (We have the Mulan doll, it's one of LP's favorites.)
